Seero Engineering Consulting Ltd has successfully signed an agreement on April 30, 2021, to acquires all shares and assets of Apex Engineering Ltd.
Apex was founded by Peter Lyall, P.Eng. in 1999 in BC, Canada and was providing transportation planning and business case development services to public authorities in BC and across Canada. Hundreds of assessments, transportation studies, models, and business cases were prepared by Apex in the last 35 years. Peter has also prepared guidelines and manuals for BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, which shaped the methodologies used in the whole industry.
Seero is a professional multi-disciplinary company founded in 2012 that provides design, engineering, consultancy, and construction management services. Seero operates in Qatar, USA, and Canada. Haytham Sadeq, PMP, MASc, P.Eng. is the Director of Seero in Canada and is also appointed as the Director of Apex. Seero team has strong experience in a wide range of engineering services including transportation planning, business case development, travel demand strategic modelling, traffic engineering, and road safety.
Seero and Apex will be supported by Peter in future projects. Existing contracts with Apex will continue as is, and future projects will be delivered through Seero or Apex. Seero will continue the great legacy of Apex and build on what is achieved even further. We believe that civilizations grow and thrive when the advancement of one generation is carried on by the next generation. This continuity helps to transfer the experience and knowledge to the new generations. This is how we maintain success as a society as we build on what we previously achieved and use it to learn and develop even more. This continuity is achieved by combining Apex’s tremendous knowledge and experience with Seero experience, knowledge and fresh resources.
Our plan is to grow the transportation planning team and strengthen our partnerships in the industry. We are looking forward to continuing the great collaboration we have with the spectrum of consultants and firms across Canada.
We also plan to advance the tools and models that were previously developed by Apex to make them even more accessible and customizable for various types of business case assessments.
